Intro to R & Python with RLadies and Montreal
RLadies+ Montreal is hosting a free workshop on running Python in R on Thursday April 30 from 5-7pm. Attendees will learn how to set up Python in RStudio, do some data analysis and visualization in Python, and have the chance to network with other R users.

Conference on Classical Analysis in Memory of Paul Koosis
Paul Koosis was an internationally recognized expert in harmonic analysis and function theory, as well as a truly unique and inspiring human being. The term 鈥渃lassical analysis鈥� was chosen by Paul himself for the conference organized in his honor at the CRM in 2003. He passed away in Montreal in July 2025. On May 2, as part of 24 hrs de science, 成人VR视频 Physics Outreach and TSI Outreach are hosting 鈥淔rom Planets to Particles: An Exploration Mini-Fair鈥�! Join us for hands-on activities and demos about gravity, life on other planets, energy, volcanoes, and more! We'll also set up telescopes for some solar observing, weather permitting. Ages 5 -12, but younger and older siblings (and parents!) are welcome.
