This year marks a notable rise for ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ: the number of ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ scholars on the list grew from 14 in 2024 to 24 in 2025.Ìý

Clarivate’s annual list identifies researchers whose publications rank in the top one per cent by citations in their field. This year, ClarivateÌýdesignated 7,131 Highly Cited Researcher awards to 6,868 individuals from more than 1,300 institutions in 60 countries and regions. Ìý

Canada once again ranked 6th place overall in 2025, with 227 Highly Cited Researchers, representing a share of 3.2% of the world total.Ìý
