ABOUT BERNARD ROBAIRE
Bernard Robaire听is a James 成人VR视频 Professor听 of Pharmacology & Therapeutics and of Obstetrics &听Gynaecology听at 成人VR视频 and a Scientist at the Research Institute of the MUHC.听He has held/holds senior positions in a number of societies/organizations including Presidencies听of听the 成人VR视频 Association of University Teachers,听Association francophone pour le savoir (ACFAS),听the Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society, North American Testis Workshop,听and听the听American Society of Andrology.听 He has served as Associate Vice-Principal (Research (1993-98)听and has听served on Senate.听听He is actively involved in teaching undergraduate, graduate and medical students.听Most of the over 50 graduate students and postdoctoral trainees who have worked with him now hold leading position in academia, industry and government.
His research interests focus on听the听effects of environmental toxicants on male reproduction听and听on听aging of the male reproductive system.听This research听activity has resulted in over听270听journal articles and book chapters, and听editing/co-editing听ten听books.听He is/has been a member of peer review groups for the NIH, MRC Canada, CIHR, FRSQ, FQRNT, and the Center for Alternative to Animal Testing of Johns Hopkins University.听He听is the recipient of several听honours including听the听Distinguished Academic Award of the Canadian Association of University Teachers,听Distinguished听Andrologist听from the American Society of Andrology,听the听Jansen Distinguished Leadership and Service Award of the Society for the Study of Reproduction,听Prix Guy听Rocher听(for the promotion and defense of the Quebec University) FQPPU.听He is a member of听the Royal Society of Canada, and was elected听Fellow in the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences in听2020.
